Fran was born in 1935 in Gaffney, South Carolina and graduated from nursing school in Greenville, South Carolina in 1956. She was a nurse in the Houston area for over 30 years. She married the late Robert S. Bissett, Sr. in 1958 in South Carolina and moved to Maryland, Guam, and California before residing in Meadows Place the last 49 years.
She enjoyed being around her grandchildren, garden club, playing games with her friends, dancing, and traveling.
She is survived by her two children, Robert S. Bissett, Jr. and Valerie L. Bissett, her two grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Daena, and many beloved cousins, nieces, and nephews. Fran was predeceased by her parents, Daniel and Ruth Turner, her loving husband Robert S. Bissett, Sr., her siblings, Charles Turner, Edwin Turner, and sister Mariam Allison.
Our family is grateful to know that Fran is finally at peace. She will be fondly remember and greatly missed.
