I met Joyce after, her husband Bill called me to do some stone work at their house. She was so friendly and genuinely concerned for my well being. We talked for hours and shared our thoughts about the world as we know it. What I liked most about Joyce is that she didn't beat around the bush when it came to the truth about things.  She told me about coming to know her husband Bill and how much she respected and loved him. If it came to a certain idea of things, she loved to agree to disagree. I realized that this was her way of telling you, to keep an open mind and to question yourself about your decisions. In other words, seeking counsel and confiding in others that care, is always the best bet. I really respected her nature. Her love and dedication to  her pets was beyond compare. If there was a stray cat without a home and they came across Joyce, they now had a home with a caring heart and plenty to eat. Joyce gave me some very caring  advice, and I considered her my second Mom.  I am back working at her and Bills house now and I miss her. When I think of her, I cry but then I smile. 

To a dear boss and freind, With deep regrets we will miss you deeply.
