Barbara Lynn Linder, 65, of Saint Petersburg, Florida passed away peacefully January 6th, surrounded by her loving family. She was a warrior in her fight against cancer. She will be fondly remembered and sorely missed.
On September 3, 1957, Barbara was born. This day, the world became a little brighter.
Barbara lived life to the fullest. She knew how to balance work and play. She lived a beautiful life, filled with joy and passion. Barbara was magnetic - her family and friends wanted to gather wherever she was. She enjoyed entertaining, cooking, food, live music, arts and crafts, the beach, boating, sunsets, and her family. Barbara was always the brightest smile in the room. She was our real-life mermaid. La Sirena.
Barbara was predeceased by her son, Timothy James Linder, her mother, Janice LaFontaine, and her father, Andrew Scaturro. She is survived by her daughter, Natalie, her daughter-in-law, Deahna, and their son, Kai. She is also survived by many loving individuals, including her grandson, Justin and his wife, Lexi; her siblings, Andy, Jeff and his wife Melissa, Jodi, Sean and his wife Chantel; her cousins, Debbie, Stacey, Brad, Jerry and his wife Barbara, Teresa and her husband Carl, Danny and his wife Karen; David and his wife Monica, Doug and his wife Wendy, Kim and her wife Ray, Trey and his wife Judy, Angela and her husband Jim; and her loving nieces and nephews, Katie, Michael, Zach, Andrea, Hannah, Cassie, Emma, Charlie and Brooklyn.
A celebration of life service will be held in her honor. We request all of Barbara’s loved ones to join us in celebrating her beautiful life at Beach Memorial at 301 Corey Ave, St. Pete Beach, FL 33706. Following the service will be a celebration of life gathering at 7960 Country Club Rd N, St. Petersburg, FL 33710.
