Vivian "Betty" Sorenson

Passed with grace on March 6, 2015, family lovingly surrounding her. Preceded in death by her Parents, Henry & Marie Gudvangen, Beloved Husband of 49 years, Percy Sorenson, Jr., Son, Tommy, Sisters, Harriet and Thelma, Brothers, Morris & James. She will be missed by those who survive her, including her Sister, Bernice Peterson, Daughters, Sheila Carroll & Sandi (Steve) Potter, Grandchildren, Astra (John) Seitz, Laura Potter, Neil Potter & Keith Carroll, Great-Grandchildren, Abby & Joaquin, Blake, Logan, many Nieces & Nephews. Betty was proud to be Valedictorian of her 1946 high school class. She championed children by teaching Sunday School, and nurtured many, young and old, in times of loss and need. Her smile was inviting & infectious, and at times was "loaded for bear". Supreme navigator, she enjoyed life in MN, AZ, FL and many places in between. Thank you to her caregivers at RCCC. Memorial Service on Tuesday, March 10 at 11 AM, visitation one hour prior at Wulff Funeral Home, 1485 White Bear Ave., St. Paul, MN. In lieu of flowers, donations to Second Harvest would be appreciated.
