She was preceded in death by her Parents, Rueben and Hallie Vik; Brother, Darrell Vik.
Sonja will be deeply missed by her Husband, Jacob; Sons, Tim and Terry; Sisters, Darlene (Dave) Shaw, Hallie (Ron) Anderson, and Wilma Barnett.
Sonja worked as a registered nurse for Head Start, Medformation, Ask A Nurse, and VA Hospital. She was a longtime active member of Grace Lutheran Church. Loving others was her true passion. Sonja lived out the value of love in her daily life by loving her family and by treating her coworkers, friends, neighbors, and her patients like cherished members of her own extended family.
Service of Remembrance will be held at 11am on Thursday, February 22 at Grace Lutheran Church, 1730 Old Hudson Road, St.Paul, with visitation one hour prior to service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Grace Lutheran Church.
