She attended Roseville Area High School and Culinary Arts at St. Paul College. Rachel worked with special needs students for the Roseville School District and had a big heart and was passionate in volunteering in many things: hospice, coaching hockey, at the food shelf, helping the elderly and putting smiles on people’s faces. Rachel was passionate about so many things; spreading love and generosity, her faith, baking, cooking, ice cream, donuts (Sandy’s in Fargo, ND), Disney, Legos, John Deere, Crazy Socks, MOA, State Fair, The Food Network, gameshows, walks and her love for the water. She loved turning strangers into friends with acts of abundant love and unselfishness. Bringing light everywhere she went and putting a smile on everyone she met.
Rachel fought for her life every day. And even more so, she fought to LIVE that life. She chased her dreams, accomplished her goals, made memories with her family and friends and found special ways to care for others. She taught us all so much about what it means to love so deeply. Rachel truly had the most beautiful soul. She is a WARRIOR and an inspiration and her light changed the world. She is our Ray of Sunshine! I love you always and forever, to infinity and beyond.
She is survived by her parents; (four legged daughter) Dolly; and her grandparents, Theresa Bramstedt Wetherby and Beverly (Bunny) Bowman; step-grandmother, Sue Bramstedt; and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. She is preceded in death by grandparents, Donald Bowman, Donald Bramstedt and Douglas Wetherby; and uncle, Tom Bowman.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, an outdoor celebration of Rachel’s life will be held on June 5th 12:00PM – 6:00PM at Central Park FOR Parks Shelter (2555 N. Dale St. Roseville, MN).
