She grew up on the farm, then moved to the Twin Cities where she met James Brings. They married November 18, 1948. They bought their home near Wakefield Lake in Maplewood in 1954; Marge lived there until moving to a nursing home in 2013.
She worked at Montgomery Wards for over 35 years making custom drapes; and then worked at Josephine's Interiors making drapes for several years before retiring; she also made drapes for her home, family and friends. She enjoyed traveling with family and friends on many trips across the country (Alaska, Hawaii, Colorado, Michigan, Iowa, Alabama, and Canada).
Marge was preceded in death by her Parents; Husband, James Brings; Grandson, Christopher Brings; and Sister, Ruth DeMotts. She is survived by two Sons: Michael (Diane) Brings & Donald (Christine) Brings; three Grandchildren: Steven (Jennelle) Brings, Daniel (Amy) Brings & Bonnie (Tony) Gagliardo; and 10 Great-Grandchildren: Anthony & Matthew Brings; Claire, Sarah & Rachel Brings; Mason, Marlie, Logan, Raleigh & Piper Gagliardo. She is also survived by six Siblings: Irwin, Doris, Virginia, Lucy, Lloyd & Karen; Brothers-in-Law and Sisters-in-Law; many Nieces & Nephews; and Neighbors & Friends.
Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM on Monday, March 30, 2015 at Church of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary (1725 Kennard St. Maplewood, MN) Visitation one hour prior to Mass on Monday at the Church. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
