Leah M. Peterson

Of St. Paul, MN

Died on Oct. 18, 2013. Leah is preceded in death by her Daughter, Constance Schumann; and Two Grandsons. She is survived by her Children, Daniel (Nancy) Smith, Mark Schumann, Richard (Ann) Pantera, David (Sandra) Kortje, Dawn Holler; Grandchildren, Naomi, Giselle, Alicia, Megan, Josiah and Maryn; Great-Grandchildren, Mercedes, Christian, De'Ceon, Aleah, Brandon and Julia; Great-Great-Grandchildren, Mack and Maro; and her Dog, Missy. Leah was an inspiration with her unfailing love to her special needs son, Mark. She took care of him his entire life and they had many wonderful times together. They loved to travel to amazing places like Hawaii and Key Largo. They went swimming with seals and white water rafting in recent years. When she wasn't traveling, Leah could be found joyfully working in her yard and fixing up things around her home that she adored. Leah also had a great passion for all of God's creatures, especially dogs. She doted on her own dog, Missy and her grand-doggies, Milton and Bella. She loved them with all of her heart. Funeral service 11AM Thurs. 10/24/13 at Wulff Funeral Home, 1485 White Bear Ave., St. Paul. Visitation 1 hour prior. Interment Evergreen Cemetery. Memorials are preferred to the family.
