Irene Marie Schwankl

Irene was welcomed home into the loving arms of parents, Mary and Frank and eight siblings, Olive, Victor, Leona, Irvin, Alvera, Charles, Alice, and Richard.

Irene graduated with an RN degree at Jamestown N.D. and proudly served her country stateside during WWII.

After the war, she returned to the U of M and obtained a degree in public health. She was employed by Ramsey County until her retirement.

Committal service for Irene will take place at Fort Snelling National Cemetery on Friday, November 16, 2018 at 1:30pm in Assembly Area #4.
