Age 97, of St. Paul passed away Feb. 24, 2022, preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence R. Grzyll; mother, Anna B. Vetter; father, Carl L. Vetter; and son, Lawrence R. Grzyll, Jr. following months of assisted care for dementia and orthopedic health issues.
Caryl was born in Elroy, WI and was a mother, homemaker, avid world traveler, and a lover of music and sports.
She resided in Cudahy, WI for 30 years, retired to her “paradise” in Merritt Island, FL, enjoyed numerous vacations with family and was a faithful member of Lutheran Church of the Resurrection in Cocoa Beach for 40 + years.
Caryl is survived by her daughters, Dr. Vicki (Dr. James) Morrison and Rev. Dr. Sandra (Dr. Jay) Chrostowski; four grandchildren, Dr. Christopher (Dr. Philippa) Morrison, Rachel (Benjamin) Stern, Sarah Chrostowski, Trystan Grzyll; and great-granddaughter, Natalie Stern.
A memorial service at Lutheran Church of the Resurrection is being planned for Sunday, July 3 at 1:00 pm with internment to follow at Florida Memorial Gardens in Cocoa, Florida.
