Barb was born and raised on St. Paul’s East side. She graduated from Johnson High School in 1956. She was a Payne/Arcade Harvest Festival Queen. She was an excellent bowler and participated in many leagues and tournaments. Barb was always up for fun times, she has been known to dance on tables, swing on poles, play bingo, gamble (pull tab/video poker), traveling anywhere. Most people will remember Barb mostly through sports. She was a dedicated fixture at all family events for golf, football, hockey, softball, baseball, and volleyball games. She also threw in a few dance recitals, plays and school graduations. These would include events for her husband, children, grandchildren and even her great-grandchildren!
Barb was most proud of her family. She was always smiling when one of her grandchildren or great-grandchildren gave her a hug. She loved to snuggle and hold them when they were infants. As they grew, she was content to sit back and watch them play. We are sure she will be watching them play from heaven!
