Verna K. Perkins, age 81, of Saint Louis, Missouri passed away on Monday, November 21, 2022. She was born on November 5, 1941 to William A. and Esther (nee Reusch) Klingler who have preceded her in death along with her husband, Gary Perkins and her brother, Delbert Klingler.
Verna is survived by her loving sons, James, Jay, Jordan and John Woerndle along with their father, Robert Woerndle. She was a beloved grandmother to her six grandchildren.
Verna’s hobby of sewing developed into a business of creating beautiful wedding gowns and formals. She managed this business locally for over fifteen years. Verna was also a published author. She loved and supportive her family and enjoyed the many musical talents that her sons shared.
A Memorial Gathering of friends and family for Verna will be held Sunday, December 4, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Hoffmeister South County Chapel, 1515 Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis, Missouri 63125.
