Steve was my cousin.  We all grew up together in Lebanon PA.  He called me in May for my birthday and I haven’t been able to reach him so when I saw his obituary, I am shocked!  I would like to reach out to Ethel and Madeline.  Please contact me.  703-963-3662

I work at The Muny and that is where I got to know Steve. The smile that he has on his face in the photograph on this site is what I will remember most about Steve. And behind that smile was one of the most sincerely happy people I have ever met. I would run into Steve at The Muny, but really enjoyed the time I got to spend with him when we did our shows at the Sheldon. There we had a bit more time to get to know each other. Steve truly had a passion for The Muny and was always there to support us. I preach that nice guys finish first, and Steve is the perfect example. I will miss you Steve, and that is sincere.

It is with such a heavy heart I write this.  I am  in shock and broken.  I met Steve through our family scrap metal business.  He was a friend to my dad and then me.  Steve was such a great friend.  He reached out to me and always contacted me on my birthday.  When my father suddenly passed a year and a half ago, Steve was there for me.  I will sorely miss our conversations.  He shared beautiful pictures of his adventures to the arboretum, his backyard and trips and birthday celebrations with his daughter.  Steve was a very good man and will be dearly missed.  I write this on Father's Day since I know my dad too cherished Steve's friendship.

Please accept my heartfelt sympathy.  I was so shocked to hear about Steve’s passing.

Steve was a dear friend to us through the scrap metal association. The main reason that I loved going to the scrap metal conventions was to giggle and hang out with Steve. Throughout the years, he never missed calling us on our birthdays, or just because.
