"To Al and the rest of the Katz family.  Vernon and I send our deepest sympathy at this time of sorrow.  I remember Ruth from Indian Meadows, Olivette, Mo., and what a sweet lady she was!  If you asked her how she is doing, she would reverse the conversation and ask "how are you doing?"
Vernon remembers Ruth from Jewish War Veterans Post 644 when she came with Al.  There will be a minute of silence Sunday, August 16th, by post commander, Dennis Cohen.

So sorry for your loss.  Ruth was a wonderful neighbor.  She will be missed.  Thinking of all of you.

Ruth was such a lovely lady, and a special friend of mine I had in my life. I remember,so many years ago, how we got to meet one another. We both were at her parents little confection at the Wohl building eating a sandwich, and just began talking. Since that time we became special friends. We attended each others children's birthday parties. I was so honored to be asked to be a bridesmaid in her and Alberts wedding.I remember too, Al and Ruth having all the bridesmaid and grooms to get together as an special occasion years later, yes it was special. So many times as friends. I send my deepest sympathy to Al and all the family in such a lost of a wonderful woman. With love

Aunt Ruth was a very special "Lady". She always greeted people with a smile,and very kind words.  If she came to your home she always brought something sweet, and gave it with love.  She was a baseball fan, was up to date with all of the statistics.  
May she rest in peace, as we will always remember her as our very "special" AUNT..,
