Paul George Koerner

Paul George Koerner, age 81, of Saint Louis, Missouri passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2023. He was born on July 21, 1941. Paul was predeceased by his parents, Walter and Marcella Koerner and his wife, Joyce A. (nee Emert).

Paul is survived by his sons; Stephen and Alan Koerner. Paul was a grandfather and a friend to many.

Paul was a retired policeman from St. Louis County, he also served in the United States Army. Paul enjoyed the simple pleasures in life and was known to have a kind heart. He could spend the day just watching the Mississippi river flow by.

A visitation for Paul will be held Tuesday, January 24, 2023 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Hoffmeister South County Chapel, 1515 Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis, MO 63125, followed by funeral service at 12:30 PM. Paul will be laid to rest with his beloved wife, Joyce at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, 2900 Sheridan, St. Louis, MO 63125, where he will receive full military honors.
