Pamela Ann (Horn) Lydon, age 71, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 15th after a brave battle with cancer. It is difficult to summarize a life as meaningful and impactful as Pam’s into a few sentences. She did not always have the easiest upbringing, but she overcame these struggles to become a kind and generous individual. Her interests included art, gardening, photography, movies and hanging out with her family every chance she got. She was extremely hardworking and dedicated to raising her children who are hardworking and generous themselves.
She will be deeply missed by her husband of 47 years, Richard; her children, Jeremy (Dawn), Melinda, Josh (Katie), Justin (Danielle); her grandchildren, Anthony, Lucas, Bree, Brooklyn, Ava, Dom, and Mia; her dog, Bobby, as well as many extended family and friends.
Pam was preceded in death by her parents, Leslie and Joan Horn, her grandparents, and her granddaughter, Annaliese.
Pam believed in the power of guardian angels. She was convinced that our loved ones never completely left us when they died, but instead found a way to check on us occasionally while leaving little signs of their presence. If you see a butterfly or notice a feather on the ground, it may be Pam checking in to make sure that we are doing okay.
A visitation for Pamela will be held Wednesday, October 23, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Kriegshauser Mortuary-West Chapel, 9450 Olive Blvd, St. Louis, MO 63132; followed by a second visitation (beginning at 8:30) and a funeral service Thursday, October 24, 2024 at 9:30 AM, also at Kriegshauser Mortuary-West Chapel.
