Mildred JoAn Hargiss (nee Prater), age 88, of St. Louis, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2022. Mildred was born January 16, 1934 in Bragg City, MO to the late Lloyd and Nell (nee Hartwell) Prater; loving wife of the late Don Hargiss; loving mother of Patricia Ann Sailor and mother-in-law of the late LaVerne Sailor; dear sister of Patsy (and the late Sonnie) Ingles, Calvin C. (Lorean) Prater and the late Mary (Cloyce) King, Harold (Mary) Prater and Donald (Ann) Prater. JoAn retired after 40 years of work at American National Can.
There will be no services held at this time. Arrangements are being handled by the Hoffmeister South County Chapel,1515 Lemay Ferry Rd. St. Louis, MO 63125 and interment will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
