Lynne my heart is heavy as I just learned of your homegoing when I tried to contact you. Forever and always will you be our adoption specialist, counselor, confidant, and dear friend. Love and miss you.

I just recently learned of your homegoing.  You are truly missed but never forgotten.  Always kind, gentle, yet firm. A true advocate for children and families. Your light will forever shine in the hearts and minds of those that have encountered you.  God Speed my friend.

I just found out last week that you were gone and it honestly surprised me that such a sweet, young, caring person was no longer with us. I just wanted to say thank you for all you did for our family to help us become parents! It finally happened this January and it saddens me to think that I won't get to tell you in person. You were so kind to me and my husband and walked us through the adoption process. You will be greatly missed.

I am shocked and brokenhearted to hear about Lynne's death. I got to know her as a search assistant. Lynne dedicated endless hours to searching for my birth family, and then to counseling my brother, sister and me through the process of reuniting. She was such a gift to all of us! I am sure that she has touched many lives in the same way. Thank you, Lynne! You are fondly remembered.

I miss my ant Lynne a lot she was their for me when I needed her the most. Lynne was my best friend to have and talk to I wish her luck in heaven that all of the family that past a way that she can find them and tell them the storys that has happen her on earth and that some day that we will meet again. I love you Lynne as a ant that I had and can you tell my mom and your parents hi for me as well and all the great things that I have done as well. I will see you soon in about 70 years from now.

I am still grasping the fact that my oldest friend from my childhood has passed away so quickly after her sweet husband.  She was the softest, kindest voice in my life.  ( except when she yelled in my ear walking to the bus when we were 13 and broke my eardrum.)  I have nothing but good, good memories of her.  she was a pure, radiant soul.  The old mean earth will miss her.  Heaven is rejoicing.  One of it's true angels has come home.

My thoughts and prayers are with all who mourn our dear friend Lynne's passing--Bad drifts are preventing me from traveling to ST Louis today. Lynne has left a legacy of charity and kind acts and she has touched so many lives--what a privelege to call her a friend- she is an  exemplary social worker----may she rest in peace---Maureen Heidbreder

Several years ago our lives were blessed when we crossed paths with Lynne. She has been a wonderful foster mentor and friend.  The phrase, "The world is a better place because of" is often over used.  However we believe it was written just for Lynne.  The world is truly a better place because of the never ending love and devotion for the children and families she touched.  We will miss your quiet but endless strength and dedication.  We are better people for the brief time we were able to share with you......Lynne you will be greatly missed but never forgotten.  Thank you for being in our lives.

Lynne, thank you for stepping into my life almost 40 years ago and becoming a friend for life time. We shared our lives and the great geographical distance didn't make a difference. It seems to me that your love and care has grown through all these years. I will miss your letters written “with love” and most of all I will miss you.

I want to say “Farewell” with a poem that you wrote and shared with me:

Aunt Lynne, we'll always miss and love you. It's heart breaking to lose you so soon after we lost uncle Saman but we know that now you can meet the person you love and watch over us from heaven.
This sorrowful time in our hearts and we can't even go to visit you and say goodbye. Please forgive us for this. But we want you to know that you will be always in our heart and never forgotten.

Thankful for the opportunity to have such a wonderful and compassionate Aunt. I'll always remember and cherish the memories of family get togethers at Christmas as a child, and the times we got together for a visits whenever my family and I returned back to Illinois/Missouri for a visit home....We are sad we didn't get to share more time, and say more than we got to, but are very happy for Lynne's return home and the reunion she must be enjoying with her husband, parents, and many other loved ones who have gone on before her. Thank you Lynne, for your life and legacy of love and kindness. Please give my Mom a hug for me! We love you!

Lynne, your love is living in so many people today because you gave it so freely to many children and families over the years. I will always remember and love you, dear friend and colleague.

How do I express such a heavy heart? Maybe say good bye as we always have, with a " love you"? Then close my eyes and hear "love ya too" 
I never imagined that those two little girls in 5th grade would not grow old together......reminiscing, laughing, sharing our lives even though we were miles apart. 
Is it enoughto just say thank-you? How does one thank an angel returned home? 
I will carry your frienship in my memory, and your absence in my heart with every breath I take. Rest well dearest friend.

Lynne was a wonderful aunt to my sister's children and  a loving person to all the children whose lives she helped to make better. We're sorry we can't come in person to the visitation yet want to send our sympathy and love to the brothers and their families in their time of lose and also appreciation for their help as Lynne made this difficult transition to a better place.  Lynne,   you were so devoted to all the families and children you touched throughout your long career in foster care and adoption.  We worked side by side for almost two decades, through thick and thin and I will cherish so many memories. Please rest in peace, dear friend, knowing you left this world a better place by your gentle presence and loving humor. May your spirit again soar with Saman.
