She is survived by her husband, Paul Raidt; her sister, Barbara Groves and many friends and relatives.
After being raised and educated in central Florida, Lynette moved to St. Louis to pursue a career in finance, first with the Monsanto Company and then with the Peabody Holding company. After leaving the business world, Lynette devoted her life to the care of the older generation and to nurturing the follow-on generations. Her passion was for her music. As a member of the St. Louis Cathedral Choir and the St. Louis Archdiocesan Choir, she had the privilege of singing for Pope John Paul II both in St. Louis and in Rome, Italy.
Services: Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, September 6th at 10:00 am at the Cathedral Basilica of Saint Louis, 4431 Lindell Blvd.; St. Louis, MO 63108. There will be a visitation at the Basilica from 9:15 am until the time of Mass. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
