Linda taught English for ten years at Bishop DuBourg and McCluer North High Schools in St. Louis. Following her teaching career, she dedicated forty years to a career in business administration at Jewish Hospital and Washington University School of Medicine. She was a dynamic leader and accomplished lecturer. Linda loved gardening, backyard birdwatching, and the constant companionship of the family cats. She was an excellent chef and loved nothing more than throwing a party for family and friends, particularly during the holidays and Halloween.
Those left behind to cherish her memories include her husband, John Eschen, a daughter, Jessica (Brianna) Eschen-Goodman, a brother, Denis Repa (the late Joan), and her in-laws: Sister Carole Eschen S. L., Jim (Laura) Eschen, Mary Fran (Tony) Jurkovich, and Tom (Chris) Eschen. Linda was a dear aunt, cousin, respected colleague, and a friend to many.
