Laura is survived by her mother Deana L Cook; brother Dan E Cook; niece Karly A (Josh) Peppers, great nephew Joey Peppers, great niece Kamryn Peppers, aunt Della Brandon, aunt Glenda Dunn, cousins Mark Brandon, Vicki Brandon, Lisa Brandon, Scott Brandon, Karen Dunn and David Dunn.
Laura was preceded in death by; father Edward E Cook and uncles Donald Brandon and Charles Dunn.
Laura enjoyed cooking and baking as well watching all the cooking shows. She especially enjoyed time in the kitchen at Popes Restaurant and Grones Cafeteria. After the restaurants closed Laura worked in the warehouse at Concordia Publishing for 17 years. Over the years Laura was a bit of a loner but she found joy and companionship in her pets.
A visitation for Laura will be held Friday, April 12, 2019 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Hoffmeister South County Chapel, 1515 Lemay Ferry Road, Saint Louis, Missouri 63125. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM, in the funeral home chapel. A committal service will occur Friday, April 12, 2019 at 1:45 PM at Mount Hope Cemetery, 1215 Lemay Ferry Road, Saint Louis, Missouri 63125.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Laura's memory may be made to Stray Rescue, 2320 Pine St, Saint Louis, Missouri 63103.
