He also leaves to mourn his passing his children, Huyen, Giang, Christina and Denise Nguyen; grandchildren Michelle Nguyen, Aaron Tuong, Chelsea Nguyen, Jack Hoang, Kelly Tuong , Andy, Cory, Cody Mango, Rin and Chocolate Nguyen.

Mr. Nguyen served as a Captain in the South Vietnamese Army during the Vietnam War. He settled in the United States and worked for many years as a custodian for the Pattonville School District. He enjoyed gardening, relaxing at home and spending time with his wife and family.

Visitation will be held Friday, July 21, 2017, from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Hoffmeister South County Chapel, 1515 Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis, Mo. , 63125. A funeral service will be held Saturday, July 22, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Resurrection of our Lord Catholic Church, 3900 Meramec St, St. Louis, Mo, 63116. Interment will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery, 1215 Lemay Ferry Rd, Saint Louis, Mo, 63125.
