Diane Duval Mueller

Diane D. Mueller (nee Person), age 56, was received into God’s hands on Wednesday May 15th,2019 in St. Louis, Missouri surrounded by her loving family. A memorial visitation will be held at Hoffmeister South County, Tuesday, May 28th, 4-8:00 p.m. with a memorial mass on Wednesday, May 29th, 10:00 a.m. at St. Gabriel’s Church in St. Louis. Inurnment will be at Mount Hope Cemetery with her beloved son, Wally. The family suggests memorial contributions be sent to Diane's daughter, Jessica Mueller, and she will distribute to the charity of her choice.

The family would like to thank the staff at Siteman Cancer Center, Barnes Jewish Hospital, and BJC Hospice for their kindness, compassion, and excellent care given to Diane.

Diane was born on March 27, 1963 in St. Louis, MO to Dolores (Hannibal) and the late Dennis Person. Beloved mother to Jessica T. Mueller and the late Walter C. Mueller IV; dear sister to Denise (Henry) Weseloh and Andrew Person; dear sister in law, aunt, and a friend to many.

She was a 1981 graduate of Dubourg High School. Diane was married and later separated from Walter C. Mueller III and had two children, Wally and Jessica, whom she undoubtedly loved so much. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She learned effervescent patience, to make the most of what she had, and developed a strong trust in God. She imparted the trust in God to her children, nieces, nephews, as well as to the many children that came into her life. Diane had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way.

Diane truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; chatting with family and friends, laughing, and spending time with her kids, mom, family and friends. Our lives and hearts will forever be touched by this graceful lady. We love you momma bear, Aunt DiDi, Tutti, momma Mueller, D-Rock.
