DeWitt "Randy" Harris, Jr. ❤️, 57, on Saturday, April 20, 2019. Son of the late DeWitt T. and Norma Jean (nee Randle) Harris; loving father of Brandi Harris-Stokes; dear nephew of Juanita Street, former partner of Marena Stokes; dear uncle and friend to many.
DeWitt “Randy” Harris, Jr. was born December 3, 1961 in California; adopted to parents Norma Jean Randle & DeWitt Talmadge Harris, Sr. He spent his life in St. Louis, Missouri, graduated from University City High, and attended Forest Park Community College. Randy loved collecting vintage comic books, as well as figurines. He loved playing video games, thus compiling his own collection, as well as cooking for his family. But he loved nothing more than his only daughter, Brandi Cherri Harris-Stokes. Randy spent his later years at St. Louis City Place Nursing Home (originally named Cathedral Gardens and Willowbrook), due to lower body paralysis, but there was never a time that a smile wasn’t on his face. He carried with him a childlike vitality and made the very best out of the worst. Randy passed away April 20, 2019 at Christian Northwest at the age of 57. A loving, caring, playful, and giving man he was, he will always be eternally loved by those he touched so deeply.
