Born in New Brunswick, New Jersey on December 11, 1947, David was the first child of Stanley and Ella Jacob, who immigrated to the United States from Eastern Europe. David attended Rutgers Preparatory School and graduated in 1965. The pursuit of higher education took David to Ohio, Missouri, and finally to Brussels, Belgium where he achieved his lifelong goal to become a medical doctor.
David is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years Cynthia “Cindy” Jacob (née Miller). He is the dear father of Gabriel (Natalia), Joelle (Jonathan Biermann), Alexis (David Ringwood), and Evan (Brionna); loving grandfather of Tess, Max, Stanley, Saul and Ezra; dear son of the late Ella and the late Stanley Jacob; dear brother of Karen Jacob Kaufmann and the late Larry Jacob; and a dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, and friend to many.
Dr. Jacob was a urologist for more than 35 years in the state of Florida. He was loved and appreciated by both his peers and patients.
Per David’s wishes, no services will be held. A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
