As our families grew up in close proximity, there are many memories of board and computer games hotly contested.  Sandy welcomed our boys with much grace.  As a nurse, she showed care for the usual broken bones even urging a 2nd opinion on one occasion.  It proved to be necessary.  
These last few years have been heartbreaking for you; yet, heartwarming as you drew together to support each other and to support Sandy.

I have known Sandy since we went on the school bus together to high school, were roommates at Mary mount College and after in Montreal till Sandy married Richard. We went skiing in Austria and Switzerland, shared our first alcoholic drink together..rum and coke(never again !) We were connected at the hip. Sandy was always there for me ,Smart, practical and extremely loyal.She came to Montreal West every morning for two weeks after I had back surgery and helped me recover. We all know her devotion to Richard and family , she was the same to all she loved.Even in her early illness she remained cheerful and accepting of life as it came. 
She was rewarded by the devotion Richard, David, Jean and Daniel have for her
