1923 - 2013
Our wonderful father and husband to Betty slipped gently into his next life. Betty, with him for almost 65 years will miss him beyond words. We cherish his smiling face and his ability to make light of life’s troubles. His family, friends and his faith were the foundation of his life. Till we meet again we will continue to find strength in the love you gave us.
After serving in the 17th Duke of York Royal Canadian Hussars during WWII George returned to Montreal, went to art school, and worked for 36 years at The Gazette Canadian Printing. After retiring his passion was his workout at the gym 3 times a week that only stopped due to illness. During the last few weeks George has been at Charles LeMoyne Hospital on 3 north. The wonderful staff looked after him like he was family.
