It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beautiful mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, best friend, confident and guardian angel. On Sunday, July 11, 2021, at the Palliative Care Facility in St-Jean Richelieu after a brave battle with cancer and Alzheimer’s she lost her fight. She was a large presence in the St-Hubert (East Greenfield Community). She worked for CP and then as a barmaid for Branch 159 Canadian Legion. She was an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 159, St. Gabrielle’s Church and the H.O.P.E organization. She will always be remembered for her compassion, friendliness, and support. She spent her life caring for other’s and loving her friends and family.
Doreen was the beloved wife of the Late James Campbell. Cherished mother of Jim (Maureen Mott), Danny (Colleen Hennessy) and Kathleen Campbell of St-Hubert. Devoted grandmother of Chelsea, Lindsay, Olivia, Leah, Kristen, Sean Campbell and Cassidy MacMunn. She will also be missed by her surviving sisters Kathleen Long and Husband Danny Long of Verdun, Quebec, Ann Redmond and late husband Jim Redmond of Cold Lake, Alberta. Loving daughter of the late Tom & Mary Green Dalton.
She was also the sister to the late Leo Dalton, Tom Dalton, Mary Dalton Mulrooney, Jim Dalton & wife Sheilagh, and Monica Dalton.
Loving aunt of Colleen Long Stuart and Husband Gary of St-Bruno, Susie Long of Verdun, Sandra Long Lydon and Brian of Calgary, Alberta. Steven Redmond of Cold Lake, Alberta, Michael and Wife Michelle of Edmonton, Alberta, Todd and wife Susan Redmond of Edmonton, Alberta, Donna Dalton Hunter and Husband Mervin (Skip) of Ile-Perrot, Montreal. Katherine, LynnAnn and John Mulrooney of Ontario.
A viewing will be held at Collins Clarke MacGillivray White Funeral Home, 307 Riverside, St. Lambert, Quebec on Thursday, July 15th from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m.
A mass will be held in the Chapel on Friday, July 16th at 10:00 a.m. and burial at the Notre Dame-Des-Neiges Cemetery, 4601 Chemin de la Cote-des-Neiges, Montreal Quebec.
In lieu of flowers a Memorial Tribute can be made to H.O.P.E (Helping Other People Efficiently) c/o St. Mary’s Parish, 125 Grove Street, Greenfield Park, Quebec J4V 2X2.
