I'm sorry to hear of Jim's passing. He and my father were good friends when they worked together at Hudson's Bay Northern stores together. I also remember Jim well coming to our home when he and my father would go on a spree. I also had the pleasure of working with him as well when I worked at Hudson Bay. My Condolences to the King family, he will be remembered by the Ryan family. Here is a photo my father Gerald and Jim.

To Carol and the whole family, sorry to hear of your loss, I can remember Jim with the Irish Society going to the St. Patrick's Parade down in Montreal by bus he just loved that special day.

James/Jim/Jimmy was Mr.King to me.
A man always ready with a smile and a friendly hello.
I have fond  memories of Mr.King watching Brendan and I play soccer both on the field and in the backyard, it was easy to single out Mr.Kings distinct words of encouragement from the crowd.
It was great to see Mr.King on St-Patrick’s day enjoying the music , the craic and the people.
I extend my sincere condolences to the King family on your loss.

So many great memories of Jim and his family particularly as soccer was involved. Jim was always at the Labour Day tournament watching his family play or just watching. He would always note that soccer was good but didn't hold a candle to hurling. I was fortunate to see some of his family at this years tournament.
I wish all his family peace and the blessing of the memories seen in the photos they posted. Rest in peace old friend.
