Mr Rankin was an amazing man ! Understatement of the year !   Graduating with Chip and knowing Tim, Renee, Dan and Matt, Mr and Mrs Rankin always welcomed us into their home and always looked out for our safety.   I can count a lot of times since I lived further north in our DLS days, Mr Rankin said to me you are not going anywhere. Have fun and go swimming.  lol.   I loved this man and all the Rankin’s.   I know this is difficult and sad but what a wonderful life he lived.  I know he is so so proud of all his children also and he now can join Mrs Rankin in heaven.  We will celebrate the Rankin Family.  Love to you all !

I so loved you Brother in Law.  You were a good, decent, moral Man.  You will live forever in my memories.  RIP

My condolences to the entire Rankin Family. What a celebration of life your Dad was. Always smiling, laughing and making everyone around him feel better. I grew up as a youngster with Tim and spent so much time at their house playing sports, camping, swimming, and having overnight stays. I was always made to feel a part of the Rankin family. I can still see you riding that little black scooter down the street off to work with your lunchbox strapped to the back, wearing a little helmet and a big smile! You'll always be "Mr Rankin" to me, even when I saw you a couple years ago, where else but at a De LaSalle sporting event. You gave me that big smile and loud, "Hello Allen"! You were so happy my two sons went to De LaSalle and my youngest graduated with Alex. The proudest long term member of the Dad's Club there will ever be. You were a blessing to us all.

I know you're in the welcome arms of the Lord and making heaven an even brighter place. God Bless you "Mr. Rankin"

I am sad that I didn’t have a chance to have all of you in my life more consistently.. I am thankful for your dad’s visit to Paradise California back in the day.  We took him out for Chinese food and he loved the walnut shrimp! It seems you all had a loving relationship and I’m happy for you. Wish I could have known all of you better in my lifetime!

Brother in Law, Thank you for all the little ways you brought joy to my heart.  I love you.  The greatest gift my Sister ever gave me was you, Brother in Law .
