Raymond James Campau, age 80, of St. Clair Shores, Michigan passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2023. He was born on March 6, 1943, to parents Archibald and Eleanor Campau. Longtime sweetheart of 59 1/2 years to Colleen Campau. Loving father to Jennifer (Edward) Raybaud and Matthew (Carol) Campau. Cherished grandfather to Katherine (Brian) Folmar, Matthew (Jessie) Raybaud, Adam Campau, Jack Campau, and Sarah Campau. Raymond was preceded in death by his brother and their wives Gary (Judy) Campau, Larry (Barbara) Campau and Richard (Shirley) Campau. Raymond will be missed by many family and friends.
Raymond received his bachelor’s degree from the Center for Creative Studies in Detroit. He would then go on to work for Ford Motor Company for 38 years, in Automotive Design and Modeling. Early in his career at Ford's crafting his talents Raymond receive the prestigious title of Master Modeler. Raymond wanting to share his talents decided to go back and teach at the Center for Creative Studies for 7 years.
Celebration of Life For A Really Good Man will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church 28301 Little Mack Ave., St. Clair Shores, Michigan 48081.
