James Kinsella, of St. Clair Shores, age 77, passed away on March 20, 2024. He is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Nancy; loving children: Patrick (Melissa), Meghan (James) VanOrsdal, Philip (Amanda), Maureen, Mark; dear grandchildren: Desmond, Shealyn, Cassidy, and Connor. James was an avid Detroit Tigers fan. He enjoyed cooking, grilling, and participating in his online bill-tracking group, “Where’s George?” In his younger years, James enjoyed coaching youth sports for the City of St. Clair Shores. And even after his kids all grew up, he continued to volunteer his time as a board member for SCS youth baseball. Above all other things, he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to his favorite charity, Detroit Dog Rescue. A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, April 5, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores.
