Dear Roose Family, 
I think of your Mom often. She was always special to me. Her sweet voice and calling me Jacquelyn instead of Jackie. She always asked about my family. Today, is my Mike’s one month passing. I’d like to think that there is a pretty good card game happening in Heaven right now! Your Mom,Dad,My Dad,Greg, Mike and my Aunt Jean,Uncle Gene and my Uncle Gil! Two tables so far……

Your Mom brought great laughs and bright moments to all our lives!

To The Roose Family,
We are very sorry for your loss! Your Mom was a true gem! I looked forward to every April 7th, so I could call her for her birthday. She was so pleasant and so full of life. She had a great and infectious laugh. She will be missed and remembered fondly...always! 
May she rest in eternal peace...

My heart goes out to Mary Lynn and family on your loss.
It is never easy to loose a loved one, but know that she will always be there with you.  She will be watching over you in the years to come. She is now at peace with the angels.
  I first met Elana years ago at Christmas at Mary Lynn and Bob’s house. She was such a gracious lady , so sweet and kind.  She became an extension of the Saunders Family.   
Mary Lynn, take comfort in the fact that you had your mom for such a long time and you were able to be with her as she went thru her journey.

When I got married on 5/27/72, Mrs. Roose was at the back of the church with me. She hugged me and told me how beautiful I was. She handed me my bouquet and I started to cry. I looked at her and thought, “she is part of my childhood, now I am going into adulthood, ”  those were the only tears I shed that day. Thank you, Mrs.R., for wonderful memories on Aline Drive with your family! 

Elena was one of those special people encountered in life.  Her kindness and generosity always accompanied her whenever and wherever she went.  She had a delightful sense of humor.  Ralph and I had the pleasure of traveling to PA with Elena for the celebration of Ralph's sister's 60th surprise birthday celebration.  At the age of 80, she was a great travel companion and game for anything!  Her faith was her strength, and her prayers for family, friends and even strangers was beneficial for many.  May our Lord welcome her home as she is now united with so many loved ones who have gone before her.  


The Roose family lived down the street from us, and we went to St. Joan of Arc church with them.  They sponsored us to Cursillo.  They visited us when we moved to Florida.  Elena came to my surprise birthday party here in PA where we live now.    They had such an impact on our lives.  Both she and Bob were the most energetic and youthful couple! 
I'm going to include a picture of Elena and I at my surprise birthday part.  It is the best picture I have of her.

Elena would come into the salon with Mary Lynn to get her hair done and she was always the sweetest lady. She was funny and full of life. So glad we got to know her, her family was lucky to have her. God bless.

Mom was a rock for the family always there for everyone she will be missed,her memories will go on forever. Happy she’s with Dad her son Brian and her Mom and Dad as well her sister and brother.

Grandson Jason captured the loving glow of Mom and Dad in his painting gifted to his grandma for her birthday. 

Mrs. Roose was like a 2nd mother to me.  Very close friends of my parents and a super neighbor.   God's blessings to you Mrs Roose.
