This Guy here was so full of life laughs and just over all cool peoples! Not only was he a good manager but he was a great person never seen this man without a smile 😊  you knew when he was working because of his cologne..I’d be like yup Dave here I smell his cologne 😂☺️ (Which spelled so good) May you rest in heaven peacefully

Dave was the best manager.  I worked with him at store #4660.    I had so many great talks with him.  He cared about the employees working under him.   His hair was always perfect and he always smelled good.  You knew when he was near you.  He always had a smile and listened.  He will be missed soooo much.  May you rest in peace Dave.

I worked with Dave at the clinton twp store he was the best boss i ever had,he always had a smile on his face no matter what kind of day he was having he always made time to sit down and talk to his associates about their concerns he is going to be greatly miss by so many  my thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friend's.

From 1 unique individual about another 1 !...........  Mr Dave Grant , Always a Fair & Super person to be with and to work with . He'll have a Ticket for heaven (he'd love that line).  Dave came to me 14 weeks into his Walmart career and said 'I'm going to level with you , I think I need to find somewhere else , I don't want to do these overnights' , but I said Stay with it , things come & go here at walmart and often the bad quarters will become good quarters & vise versa . We  walmart lifers come to realize that .  He enjoyed his time together with so many different co workers . He would go thru my hatchback looking for extra souvenirs  from some event weekend trip of mine , knowing he'd get some cool memento  from somewhere that he could have . Condolences to the family .

I remember Dave laughter and warm heart He was wonderful to work with he make the night go fast I'll never forget his smile and laugh Sending prayers your way He will be truely miss

He was the Best Boss ever. He used to call me " part-time lollygagging cashier". He was Very fair and would help you if you had a problem. Very understanding

My thoughts and prayers are with the Family and Friends of this great Man that I had the true pleasure of working with at store #4660. Dave you are one of a kind, no matter what situation the work day brought you I do not recall a single time that you did not have a smile on your face or a joke to crack with me at the door on your way in or out. I was saddened to see you leave our store and am now even more saddened to say goodbye. You touched a lot of people in our store including me, I can definitely say the world will be a lesser place without you my friend.  

I worked with Dave at clinton twp store and noticed he always had a smile and would sit with individuals in the breakroom and talk with everyone.  He was unique and will be greatly missed.  To his family you truly had one of the best guys around.  I am so sorry for your loss and may God be with you to help ease your pain.  

I grew up with Dave being my fathers best friend. We lived across the street. Our families used to go camping together, have bon fires in our backyards,  and we all took part in the neighborhood block parties! Dave was the one who taught me how to balance a spoon on my nose when I was younger... And taught my you ger brother goofy ways to fart. Haha he and my dad were always causing mischief together. When my father passed away back in 2000, it was really hard on all of us, especially Dave. He lost his best friend. But i know that Dave and my dad are now in heaven causing mischief together! Dave will be greatly missed! He was an amazing friend to my family, father to Tiffany and Christy, and husband to Linda. He is forever in my heart! As well as his family, whom I consider my family as well.

This is so tough! I  just saw him a couple of weeks ago!!!!!.....smh. David was a great guy! I can always remember him having a cool, laid back attitude with a funny personality.  He  will definitely be missed. I have his family in my prayers. May God grant peace to all those who loved and appreciated who he was for them.........R.I.P Dave




Iam so sorry for your lost Dave was a inspiration to all he definitely touched alot of hearts always there for us his co-workers thanks for your caring  thoughts you will always be with us all god bless and prayers for the family 

So sorry to hear of Dave’s passing.  He was a great man.  Always smiling always making us laugh there was never a dull day at work when he was there.  My thoughts and prayers are with his family. God bless.  RIP Dave. 

My condolences to the family on the loss of Dave. There are so many great things i could say about dave but the list would go on for a while! I can truly say though that he was one of the most well rounded, funny and  caring people i know..i had a chance to work with him at store 4660 and it was a pleasure to work with him because he always made sure you knew how appreciated you were when nobody else did and knew how to make us all laugh even on a bad day!! You will truly be missed dave!!! God bless and may your soul rest easy. 

My thoughts and prayers to the family. I was fortunate to work with Dave at the Clinton Twp Walmart. He was always a friend to all the associates. I especially remember when our store was holding a "dunk tank" event and Dave arrived dressed in a clown outfit ready to sit in the tank, prepared to be dunked by associates. He always had a friendly smile on his face.  He will truly be missed by many.

Dave was my peer for over a year with the company.  The business could be rough some days but Dave always had a joke to tell or just make light of a rough situation.  Great guy and he truly loved and care for the assiocates. You will be miss Dave and I pray for the family in this time of loss. Told him about those glasses.  Lol 

I worked with Dave on midnights at Walmart. Him and Scott were my two favorite managers to work with. Dave was easy to talk to and so funny. He will truly be missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family.

This was a very horrible tragic for me to hear. When I say the Dave was the absolute best manager that I have ever had in my 44 years of living and 30 years of working. He was very fair, funny, fun and kept the midnight shift morale up. I'm sure we will not find anyone, any employee, any person that has any ill thing to say about Dave he was truly great man. He will truly be missed, my condolences to his children and his family rest in peace my brother. See you on the other side

I worked with Dave at the Roseville Wal-Mart! He was my Asst Manager. I have had some managers but he was one of the best. He kept me out of trouble and most of all he was real and he was a friend. Every time I ran into Dave if he saw me first he would say "Hey JD the troublemaker" man my heart is heavy right now. I will keep your family in my prayers. You will be missed that's for sure!!!

So sad to hear this. Dave you always, always made the nights at work so much more bearable with your jokes and smiles. You're my favorite manager of all time. You will be missed. Always enjoyed working with you. I have no doubt I will see you again, until then keep 'em laughing.

Dave was the best manager I've ever had the pleasure to work with. He was compassionate,  understanding and always had your back. Dave would always show his appreciation on how hard we worked. He's the reason I'm where I'm at today. No one would give me a chance,  Dave did. I love you Dave,  you have no idea how much you'll be missed.

Where do i begin...He was the best over night Manager at Wal-Mart...always had a smile and truly a wonderful family man...there were so many times i could have been fired...but he would just laugh and tell me "get back to work" , but I also would make him laugh at some of things I would do on midnights!!! RIP Dave, I will always treasure our friendship and will see you again!

I always enjoyed working with Dave, we shared many laughs over the nearly 6 years of working together. He was always great at getting everyone to laugh and boosting morale for everyone. He started nearly every shift with laughs no matter what he had going on in his own life. On top of that he always did his best to help with any personal issues I may have had. Thank you for everything Dave you will be missed. 

Dave was by far my favorite manager.  I was sad to see him leave our store. He always had a smile on his face and always made me laugh. He was a class act.
