We have such wonderful happy memories, going back so many years with Barbara.  She was so full of energy for all the GP Theatre projects and she loved the cast parties too.  She was a loyal friend to our family, helping with the girls when we needed that.  We will miss her.   We know she is busy in heaven putting on the next show, maybe with Al Berteel and Jack Petz.

I worked with your mom for several years at East Detroit HS.  She was a funny carrying woman and even though I have not seen her for many years I feel her loss.   My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.   Christine Schneider

#1 Mom in my book, loving, caring, all around wonderful mother/grand mother. She loved to cook (she has over 400 cook books) and she loved the Grosse Pointe Theater. No matter where we went she would try and recruit new members, she was truly devoted. 
Barb volunteered for the cancer shop, Beaumont, and the St. Clair Shores Museum. 
My mother will be sorely missed forever.

Barb was a grand lady always encouraging, complimentary and had the gift of gab. We enjoyed her in exercise class. God speed.

Barbara was our dear neighbor for 13 years never asked for thing I would have to force it upon her she loved to talk about her life and wonderful family and friends myself and family will truly miss her

Barbara was my MI mom. She meant more to me than I can write here. She was caring and giving, one of the strongest women I have had the privilege of knowing. She was always there for me,  more times than I could tell. Even though I will miss her so much I have many, many fond memories of her.

I first met Barb when I came to EDHS in 1980. I immediately liked her because she said things as they were not how you wanted to hear them.  The students  liked her also.  She was a remarkable person.  Godspeed, Barb.
