Rose Helen Anderson

It is with great sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Rose on Tuesday, March 20th 2018, in her 86th year. Predeceased by her husband Bill of 61 years, and mother of Michael (Shirley), James (Leona), Peter, Bill (Karen) and Jennifer, who were all given the greatest gift of a loving, patient, kind mother and to love and have been loved by her. Rose was the beloved grandmother of Matthew, Will, Christopher and Claire.

Rose was raised in Fenwick by her parents Jesse and William along with her six brothers and two sisters. Rose worked at Jordan Valley Wines in the 50’s, marrying Bill in 1954 and together they raised their family happily throughout the years.

Rose was much loved by her family and friends and was a compassionate woman filled with wisdom, optimism and a generous spirit.

Throughout her life and during her health challenges Rose always had great strength and endured with grace and dignity. The family thanks the wonderful people at Henley House, Woodend for their professionalism, kindness and friendship to Rose over the years. She will be deeply missed by the many who were fortunate enough to know and love her.
