Marie, at the beautiful age of 90 and a half, was the loving wife of the late Bill Cleverley (2008) and the late George Gemmell (1994). Beloved mum to Jay and Gladys Gemmell. Proud and much loved grandma of Kiana. Predeceased by her daughter Lori Ellen (1955) and by her son Warren James (1959). Dear sister of the late Bob and Marge Taylor, Inez and Jim Fraser and Norman Taylor (RCAF 1943). Survived by many special nieces and nephews (Lynda & Vaughn Smith, Ken and Denice Taylor, Louise Fraser, Lorna and Ron Zimmerman). Remembered by her Cleverley family; Scott (Carol), Cheryl, Janice and Barry Hargreaves and their families.
For many years, Marie worked for the five doctors on Queen Street and is often remembered by former patients.
In keeping with Marie’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Private family graveside interment at Victoria Lawn Cemetery.
