At the age of 88 passed away peacefully at his home in St.Catharines on July 8, 2023 in the loving care of his wife Louise.
Sadly missed by his wife Louise and children; Tony ( Tammy), Cynde ( Clive), Daniel ( Aaron), and grandfather to Tyonna, Allan, and Gabe. Predeceased by his parents Walter and Knowles Cross and his former wife Barbara. Fred worked at Fraser Paper Mill in Thorold in Quality Control. He was a member of the St.Catharines Flying Club, RAA, and Niagara Peninsula Amateur Radio Club. A special thank-you to nurse Cynde and all who provided special care to Fred.
In keeping with Fred's wishes, cremation has taken place. Memorial visitation will take place at ST.GEORGE'S ANGLICAN CHURCH, 83 Church Street, St.Catharines on Saturday August 5th 2023 from Noon-1:00 pm with a memorial service beginning at 1:00 pm followed by inurnment in the niche.
