Elizabeth "Maimie" "Beth" Mary (Malcolm) Coghill

Passed away peacefully at Heidehof in St.Catharines, Ontario on January 2 2024 at the age of 89. Predeceased by her loving husband John George “ Ian” Coghill. Sadly missed by her cousins James and Malcolm Bremner and sisters-in-law Sheila (the late Jimmy) Coghill and Jeanette of Perth Scotland as well as her coworkers from the St.Catharines General Hospital.

Beth was born in Wick, County of Caithness Scotland and this is where she began her nursing career. She emigrated to Canada in 1961 where she worked at North Western Hospital in Toronto and moved to the Niagara Region where she worked at the St.Catharines General Hospital until her retirement.

Beth loved her Scotty dogs, & Westie. Angus, Roddy, Andrew, Max and Ben were her family and she received all the love and joy from them. Beth also enjoyed reading and discussing world politics. She will be missed by all who knew her. In keeping with Beth’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday June 6th 2024 at 11:00am with visitation one hour prior.
