Passed away, with family by his side, at his home on Monday, September 5, 2022 just shy of his 74th birthday. Predeceased by his parents Joseph Nathaniel and Catherine Hinds and siblings Algonan Shaw and Bevern Williams. Dear brother of Reginald “Eddy” (Edline) Hinds, Karam “Henwood” Hyinds, Emmanuel “Mano” (Diane) Hinds, and Beverlyn (Mark) Hinds-Rodgers. Beloved Dad of Myrthlyn Hyinds, Cliff (Kendra) Hinds, Stacia Hinds, Euella Hinds, Ryan Hinds, Ashley Hinds, Darcy Hinds, Jevonte Hinds, and Rave (Nina) Roberts. Second father to Catherine Hyinds and Carol Hyinds. Loving Grandpa of Qammie, Devon, Shirleen, Anica, Andy, Tamica, Myrthlyn, Keanna, Nadia, Aidan, Kallie, Austin, Shaneice, Shayla, Antonio, Sarafina, Jarrel, Elijah, Eliyana, Ryan, Denise, Raphael, and Gianina. Great-grandfather of Kelsey, Kelton, Keldon, Stacey, Nazhar, Malik, Pauleen, Calianna, D’Kheris, Junior, Khai, Safi, Ariyellah, Arieliyah, Xiomara, Dejah, Romari, and Luca. He will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and friends – too many to list.
Family and friends will be received on Thursday, September 15, 2022 from 7-9 p.m. and from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. on Friday, September 16, 2022 at Hulse & English Funeral Home & Chapel, 75 Church St. St. Catharines. A Funeral Service will be celebrated on Friday, September 16, 2022 at 12 p.m. at First Grantham – Trillium United Church, 415 Linwell Road, St. Catharines. **We will be leaving the funeral home at 11:30 a.m. to process to the church. Interment to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations made to the St. Catharines General Hospital – Dialysis Unit would be appreciated by the family.
