WILMA Jean HAMPTON, age 91, of St. Louis, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, October 20, 2021. WILMA was born April 23, 1930 to Anthony Alois and Anna Marie (nee: Gerbes) Woker. They have preceded her in death, as has her loving husband Allen R. Hampton, Jr, her daughter Barbara A. Hines (Vern survives), and her siblings: Norbert Woker, Delores Edwards, and Celeste Lambing. Wilma is survived by: her brother Leonard A. Woker; her children: Mary Gardner (the late Neil), Allen A. Hampton ("Toni"), Charlene Hampton May (Tom), Glen Hampton (Linda); her numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Wilma was a former member of Sts. John and James Catholic Church in Ferguson, Missouri. She enjoyed playing softball, roller derby, and sewing. She loved the outdoors, and enjoyed flowers, especially Violets, Hydrangeas, Peonies, and Dahlias.
