Joan Marie Hunter

Joan Marie Hunter, 79, of Breckenridge Hills, Missouri passed away peacefully on March 22, 2025. She was born on April 9, 1945, to Jack Hutcherson and Hazel Hutcherson, who preceded her in death. Joan was also preceded in death by her brothers, Michael and Donald Hutcherson.

Joan’s life was one of warmth, creativity, and devotion. She shared 59 beautiful years of marriage with her beloved husband, William Hunter. Together, they built a life filled with joy, laughter, and treasured memories. She was the proud and loving mother of Dwayne Hunter and Shirlene Hunter, who will forever cherish her kindness, wisdom, and unwavering support.

Joan had a passion for sewing, often crafting beautiful garments that showcased her talent and love for her family. Her baking brought joy to countless gatherings, and she was famous for her delicious wedding cakes. She also had a lifelong admiration for Elvis Presley, with his music serving as the soundtrack to many cherished moments.

Joan’s gentle spirit, generous heart, and sense of humor touched the lives of all who knew her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

A graveside service for Joan will be held Monday, March 31, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Mount Lebanon Cemetery, 11101 Saint Charles Rock Road, St. Ann, MO 63074.
