Jack Dale York, 89, of Bridgeton, MO went to be with the Lord on January 15, 2021. He is preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Nancy York and his siblings, Helen Pollard, John York, Robert York, Patricia Carrow, Donald York, Shirley Spivey, and Judy Presley.
Jack is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Marguerite (nee Lacey) York; children, Jeffrey York, Glenn York, Jonathan (Janet) York, and Rachael Johnson; grandchildren, Ashley, Nick, and Zac, Christopher Dale, Kayla, Thomas, and Miles, and Joshua, Matthew, Haley, and Lacey; and great granddaughter, Savannah.
Jack was a proud USAF veteran who served in the Korean Conflict. He had a passion for everything aviation and often took his young children to Lambert Field to watch the planes take off and land. He was a devoted member of Bridgeway Church Assembly of God in Bridgeton. He loved music and playing the guitar as well as an avid golfer. Jack was a patient and dependable man who was always willing to help anyone who needed it. He was the family patriarch who offered endless love and support and his grandchildren were the lights of his life.
Friends may visit from 10 a.m. until the time of service at noon at Bridgeway Church Assembly of God, 11950 Mark Twain Ln, Bridgeton on Monday, January 25, 2021 (on the wedding anniversary with his beautiful wife).
