Gary Lee Dye

Gary was born June 10, 1945 in Apple Creek,Ohio to the late Elmer and Vida Dye. He was the youngest of nine children, his 8 siblings have preceded him in death. Gary earned his Associates and Bachelors degrees at the University of Akron.

Gary was blessed with two daughters, Rhonda and Dawn. Rhonda is married to David Harvey and has two sons, Daniel Hantzsche and Mitchel Shaffer. Mitchel married Kelly and has two daughters, Valerie and Audrey. Dawn married Eric Avey and has a daughter Cadence.

Later in life, Gary married Yolanda with two children, Eric and Jennifer. Eric married Krista and has Will and Nora. Jennifer married Carl Mosier and has Emma, Lily, and Carleigh.

Gary was very proud of being a Navy veteran. Gary retired from Babcock and Wilcox after 32 years, then retired from Missouri Baptist University after 11 years.

Gary was a loving husband, father, brother, and uncle that loved his blended family very much and will be greatly missed.

A visitation for Gary will be held Monday, March 20, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Alexander White Mullen Funeral Home, 11101 St. Charles Rock Rd, St. Ann, MO 63074.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at 11:00 AM with the committal service following at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
