Crawford, Donald was raised with a strong sense of integrity, kindness, and resilience. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Bruce Humphrey.
Donald is survived by his devoted wife of 74 years, Marilyn Alice Humphrey, with whom he shared a lifetime of love and memories. They were married in February of 1950, beginning a beautiful journey together that spanned more than seven decades. Together, they raised two sons, Raymond and Thomas, and were later blessed with two grandsons, Lewis and Jacob, who brought immense joy to his life.
A proud Army veteran, Donald served his country honorably from 1951 to 1953 during the Korean War. Jacksonville was also where he discovered his passion for sailing, often taking to the waters on his sailboat with his brother Bruce, finding peace and adventure in equal measure. Alongside Marilyn, he also had a deep love for ballroom dancing, and they spent countless evenings together on the dance floor, gliding together in rhythm as they had in life.
