Darrell Miller, 85 of House Springs, MO died on November 2, 2021. Darrell worked full time until the age of 78 when he retired from Continental Fabricators where he was a burner. He went to work for Continental Fabricators in 1961 and was known as “Hollywood” for his jet-black, slicked back hair style. He was still among the steadiest hands with a torch when he retired.
He loved working in his garage, taking care of his car and working around the house. He was always good for a story filled with plenty of laughs. Most of all he was proud of the big family he had after being an only child.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years Kathryn Miller, 6 children: Darrell (Nancy) Miller, Sherri (Greg) Maloney, Stephen (Lisa) Miller, Evelyn (Gary) Runyon, Jennifer Hagan and Michael McKenzie.
Grandchildren: Sarah (Mark) Harmon, Jeff (Becky) Miller, Erin (Joe) Conte, Zack Miller, Greg (Delilah) Davis, Kristin (Dave) Jones, Matthew Wade, Justin (Alisha) Patton, Stephen (Shanon) Miller Jr, James Brumgard, Elizabeth Miller, Dale Patton, Kathryn Patton, Travis Patton and Tiffany Miller and 32 great grandchildren; 2 brothers in law, Stephen (Pat) Moore and John Moore and 2 sisters in law Theresa (Rick) Ruckman and Debbie (Donald) Newberry. He is preceed in death by his father Wilbur Miller, mother Evelyn Steise, father and mother-in-law Dale and Genevieve Moore, sister Janice Sullivan, sister and brother in law Diane (Frank) Vaccaro and brother in law David Moore.
