Carol S. Koeller, age 79, of Jennings, Missouri passed away on Friday, June 23, 2023. . Carol was born December 6, 1943 to the late John and Christine (nee Dodd) Byrn. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Koeller, Jr., a son, Daniel Switzer, and her sons-in-law; Andy Altmiller and Mark Leesmann.
Those left behind to cherish her memory include her children; Cindy Leesmann, Rob Schien, and Sandy Altmiller, her grandchildren; Robert (Megan) Leesmann, Gregory (Rebecca) Leesmann, Kenneth (Jessica) Leesmann, Tina (Greg) Bilyeu, Michael (Kathryn) Schien, Emily Altmiller, Chase Switzer, and six great- grandchildren. Carol is also survived by her brother, Randy Byrn, and a sister, Kay Rudolph. Carol was a dear friend to Alfredo Battaglia. She was an aunt, a cousin, and a friend to many.
After losing her husband Kenneth, Carol found comfort from her friends at the Backstoppers. Carol then dedicated her time selflessly to helping those struggling with the loss of a loved one.
A visitation for Carol will be held Thursday, June 29, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Alexander - White - Mullen Funeral Home, 11101 Saint Charles Rock Road, St. Ann, MO 63074. A funeral service will occur Friday, June 30, 2023 from 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Carol will be laid to rest following the service at St. Charles Memorial Garden, 3950 W. Clay Street, St. Charles, MO 63301.
