Antoinette "Toni" Elise Gibson

Antoinette "Toni" Elise Gibson, age 103, was called home on Thursday, March 16, 2023, surrounded by her family. Toni was born in St. Louis, Missouri on July 4,1919 to the late Gaetano and Giovannina (nee Misuraca) DiMercurio. She has also been preceded in death by her husband Lee A. Gibson and four of her sisters and two brothers.

Toni was the loving mother of Linda D. Lowrey (Greg) and Catherine E. Gremaud (Rod); dear sister of Angelina F. Mudd; precious grandma of Theresa L Franklin (Ken), Justin M. Gremaud (Jessica), Gregory J. Lowrey (Shelly), Andrew J. Gremaud, and Leah M Halbrook (Chris); beloved great-grandma of Brett A. Franklin (Aspen), Madison P. Gremaud, Regan E. Gremaud, Kaylee M. Lowrey, Bryce H. Lowrey, Ethan M. Franklin, Zachary K. Franklin, Sierra G. Lowrey, Tyler J. Gremaud, Olive K. Halbrook, Khloe G. Gremaud, Amelia L. Halbrook, Calvin L. Halbrook, Darren L. Walters, Joshua W. Hollaway, Joseph N. Hollaway and Skyler J. DuBois; treasured great-great-grandmother of Hyde C. Barton, Kendrick C. Barton, Salem L. Gremaud, and Lennox A. Franklin.

For over 30 years Toni proudly volunteered at the St. Charles Senior Center. She was known as the St. Charles Dancing volunteer. You would often see her dancing, music or not, around the center and always with a smile. When she wasn't volunteering she enjoyed traveling, word search puzzles, reading, crocheting, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends. She loved being her grandchildrens biggest fan and cheering them on at their hockey games and gymnastics meets. Another passion of hers was being a jokester. She loved to laugh and she loved to have fun. Toni also enjoyed scary movies and always looked forward to dressing up for Halloween. Fred Flintstone, a fortune teller, and a scuba diver. These are just a few of her famous memorable costumes over the years. Toni will be missed deeply by her family and friends.

A visitation for Toni will be held Thursday, March 23, 2023 from 8:30 AM - 10:30 AM at Alexander White Mullen Funeral Home, 11101 St. Charles Rock Rd, St. Ann, MO 63074

A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Holy Spirit Catholic Church located at 3130 Parkwood Ln, Maryland Heights, MO 63043 with a committal service following at Mount Lebanon Cemetery, 11101 St. Charles Rock Rd, St. Ann, MO 63074

In honor of Toni, memorials may be made to First Steps Back Home or to St. Judes Children's Research Hospital.
