Anne Buchanan Niehaus (nee Barker), 76, of Calverton Park, MO passed away peacefully on Monday, December 19, 2016 with family by her side. She is preceded in death by her parents, Edmund and Dorothy (nee Bourne) Barker and her husband of 37 years, Francis Niehaus. Anne is survived by her son, Calvin (Linda) Niehaus of Hazelwood and Melissa (Roy) Elstner of Mooresville, IN); granddaughters, Mikala and Breahna; and her brother, Alan (Judy) Barker.
Ms. Niehaus was an active member of Salem Evangelical Free Church in Florissant where she sang in the choir, played piano, led women’s bible study, and participated in the women’s fellowship and Forever Young group. She was dedicated to her family but was a stubborn lady who was definitely in charge of her household! She enjoyed knitting and sharing music with everyone through her beautiful piano playing. Her strong faith and love for her family will be cherished by everyone who knew her.
Friends may visit on Thursday, December 22, 2016 from 4-8 p.m. at Alexander-White-Mullen Funeral Home in St. Ann. Service will be at the funeral home on Friday, December 23 at 10 a.m. Anne will be laid to rest with her husband at Memorial Park Cemetery.
