Of Alexandria, at the age of 81, on August 27, 2016 surrounded by her family.
Beloved wife of the late LeRoy Walter; mother of Ginger (Joe) Marunyak, the late Becky Kearns, and the late David Walter; grandmother of Crystal (Dan) Walter, Ryan (Bryan) Hall, and Sean (Susannah) Kearns; and great-grandmother of 6.
Sue was a nurse in the Northern Virginia area for over 50 years, many spent at Mt. Vernon Hospital. She was an avid Capitals fan and a season ticket holder for many years.
Friends welcome on Thursday, September 1 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at Demaine Funeral Home, Springfield. A service to celebrate her life will be held on Friday, September 2 at 11 am at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Mt. Comfort Cemetery, Alexandria.
